Victorian sapphire and diamond five stone ring

Victorian sapphire and diamond five stone ring in 18kt yellow gold. Set with three oval mixed cut sapphires in grain settings, alternating with two round old cut diamonds in grain settings, to a rectangular central plaque with polished linear borders to top and bottom, met to either side with elaborately carved shoulders which terminate to a solid shank. Marked 18kt gold, Birmingham, 1903.
