Victorian diamond and sapphire scroll ring in 18kt yellow gold. Centred with three cushion shape Old Mine cut diamonds in grain settings in a diagonal plaque, flanked by two round star top cut sapphires in circular collet settings each with four subtle claws, decorated to the sides of the central plaque with carved scrolling and met to either side with deeply incised shoulders which smooth to a solid shank. Estimated total diamond weight 0.15cts. Estimated total sapphire weight 0.46cts. Hallmarked 18kt gold, Chester, 1898.
