Victorian circular pietra dura butterfly brooch in 18kt yellow gold. Centrally set with a circular pietra dura plaque, featuring cut gemstones in the shape of a butterfly, bordered by an elaborate frame of granulation, rope twists all in three-dimensional gold work, enclosed to the reverse and fitted with a hinged pin and c-scroll. Tested 18kt gold.
