Georgian mourning ring set with a central step-cut rock crystal flanked by two cushion-cut diamonds, mounted in 14ct yellow gold with white enamel inscription panels dated 1755 and engraved with the name John Payne. A fine example of mid-18th-century memorial jewellery with original hand-engraved detail and chased shoulders.
