Gold and Lapis Lazuli Panel Bracelet

A bold modernist bracelet in 18ct yellow gold composed of seven rectangular panel links, each set with a high domed cabochon of deep blue lapis lazuli in a raised circular bezel. The panels are hinged to allow the bracelet to curve around the wrist while maintaining that strong architectural silhouette. The gold has a brushed matte finish that contrasts beautifully with the polished bezels and the glossy lapis. This is the kind of bracelet that dominated the cocktail scene in the 1960s and 70s, when designers were experimenting with bold geometric forms and rich colour combinations.
