A pair of diamond stud earrings in 18kt white gold, each set with an old European cut diamond, 1.20ct total carat weight. The diamonds are F/G colour, VS clarity, displaying good brightness and transparency. Each stone is claw-set in a white gold collet with post and butterfly fittings.
The old European cut is evident from the faceting pattern visible in the images — the characteristic large culet, high crown and small table distinguishing these from modern round brilliants. At 1.20ct total the stones are of a useful size, presenting well as a matched pair.
