1870s five stone sapphire and diamond cluster ring in silver on 18kt yellow gold. Set across the finger with five cushion shape mixed cut sapphires in grain settings, encircled by a row of sixteen Old European cut diamonds in silver grain and cut down settings, to an elegant cluster design with low settings, pierced scalloped gallery and met to either side with trumpeting shoulders which curve to a slim shank. Marked 18kt gold.
