Mauboussin diamond, sapphire and emerald knot cluster ring

Mauboussin diamond, sapphire and emerald knot cluster ring in platinum, circa 1950. A swirling oval cluster consisting of two curving central panels of twenty rectangular baguette cut diamonds in claw settings, set to top with fourteen round mixed cut sapphires in raised four claw settings in yellow gold, set to bottom with fourteen round mixed cut emeralds in raised four claw settings in yellow gold, to a three-dimensional cluster design with intricately curving claws, structured open wirework gallery and met to either side with sweeping trumpeting shoulders which smooth and undulate to a flowing solid shank, fitted to the inner with two solid pips. Signed 'MAUBOUSSIN PARIS'. Numbered '16268'.
