Late Edwardian diamond solitaire engagement ring
Late Edwardian diamond solitaire engagement ring in platinum setting on 18kt yellow gold. Centrally set with an estimated 0.90ct round Old European cut diamond in a platinum claw setting, flanked by two round Old Mine cut diamonds in platinum collet settings, further enhanced with two old cut diamonds in platinum collet settings, to an elegant solitaire design with curving claws, open structural gallery and met at either side with raised trumpeting shoulders, decorated with diamonds and millegrain borders before smoothing to a solid shank. Tested platinum and 18kt gold.
