EDWARDIAN DIAMOND-SET FLOWER EARRINGS, CIRCA 1910

A pair of naturalistic drop earrings, each featuring a three-dimensional two-tiered flower drop finely hand-engraved with textured petal detailing, centered by a raised setting featuring an old-cut diamond, suspended from a smaller floral surmount, fitted with French-style hook wires, tested 14 karat yellow gold, length 3cm.

These earrings have all the signature characteristics of Edwardian jewellery, delicate, fine and in this case light weight and easy to wear on a day to day basis, the way the gold is engraved and shaped allows the earrings to catch the light on different rotations.
