Senior Accounts Administrator

Part time: 3 days a week – Based on-site, Dublin city centre

 


 

Your Mission

We are a fast growing Irish business and are looking for an experienced and competent senior accounts administrator to manage all aspects of the business administration.

 


 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Preparation of VAT returns including RTDs

  • Stocking in new purchases & management of stock books

  • Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries

  • Preparing statutory accounts for group entities

  • Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct

  • Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals

  • Invoice processing and filing

  • Processing expense requests for the accountant to approve

  • Bank reconciliation and credit control

  • Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers

  • Updating and maintaining procedural documentation

  • Assist in the compliance element of the business

  • Run payroll

  • Manage the import and export of goods

  • Develop and produce management accounts & KPIs

 


 

Your Profile

  • Ability to work as part of a team and individually

  • Level 8 degree in Accounting or relevant professional qualification

  • 3 years’ experience in a bookkeeping/accounts administration role

  • Analytical thinker and problem solver

  • Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with spreadsheet software (excel)

  • High level of accuracy

  • Extremely organised in a manner that is easily read by others

  • Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information

  • Ability to work from Dublin city centre

  • Fluent English, other languages a bonus

 


 

Working Relationships

You will work closely and report directly to the CFO but will have interactions with all team members.
