An oval amethyst and diamond cluster ring set in platinum. The centre amethyst is a bright oval stone with strong purple colour and good clarity. It is framed by a border of old cut diamonds in a classic cluster layout that gives the ring a vintage appearance. The diamonds are well matched in colour and add contrast to the amethyst. The ring has a traditional pierced gallery and slim shoulders that help keep the focus on the cluster. A good example of early to mid 20th century design.
