1950s Ceylon sapphire and diamond floral cluster ring

1950s Ceylon sapphire and diamond floral cluster ring in platinum and 18kt yellow gold. Centrally set with an oval mixed cut Ceylon sapphire in a platinum millegrain setting, encircled by a row of ten round Old European cut diamonds in platinum millegrain and grain settings, to an elegant oval flower design with scalloped edges, open wirework gallery and met to either side with raised inwardly tapering shoulders which smooth to a solid shank. Hallmarked platinum and 18kt gold.
