Vintage French fancy yellow sapphire and diamond cluster ring

Vintage French fancy yellow sapphire and diamond cluster ring in 18kt rose gold. Centred with an estimated 4.98ct cushion shape mixed cut fancy yellow sapphire in a raised four claw setting, surrounded by a row of round old cut diamonds in grain settings, enhanced at each of the corners with rectangular baguette cut diamonds in channel settings, to an impressive octagonal cluster ring with curving claws, polished borders and pierced open gallery, flanked to either side by dual trumpeting shoulders set with rectangular baguette cut diamonds in channel settings which taper and smooth to a polished shank.
