Victorian oval sardonyx cameo memorial signet ring in 18kt yellow gold. Centred with an oval tablet of banded agate, featuring a carved cameo design of a heraldic shield in relief, set in a rubover setting, to an important signet ring design with a chaised and carved frame and shoulders ressembling armour, which continues to the tapering shoulders before smoothing to a solid shank. Engraved to the inner in italic script ' HENRY YOUNG O.B. 30th JUNE 1854 at 62'. Hallmarked 18kt gold, London, 1838.
