Georgian 18kt yellow gold and black enamel mourning ring, centred with a rectangular plaque set to centre with a section of human hair with a facted rock crystal glass, bordered with intricate carved florettes and further framed by a hand painted back enamel edge, met to either side with split trumpeting shoulders with scalloped feather motifs which terminate to a ribbed shank. Engraved to the reverse 'GMO EDMONDS OB 19TH SEP 1826 at 91'. Marked 18kt gold, London, 1826.
