A rectangular pendant featuring elaborate engraving to front and back, hinged and opening to reveal an openwork grill fitted with a hinge to allow the wearer to change the perfume inside, fitted to top with a circular bale. Marked Sterling silver, Birmingham, 1856. Maker's mark for Alfred Taylor.
