1940s day/night emerald and diamond earrings in 18kt yellow gold. A matching pair of earrings, each comprised of two parts, the articulated geometric drop, with a polished finish and diamond set platinum edge, fitted to the reverse with a secure bale attached to a removable butterfly, connecting to a diamond shape stud, centred with around cabochon emerald in a rubover setting, framed by a border of round diamonds in platinum grain settings and fitted to the reverse with a secure stem and butterfly. Marked 18kt gold, Italian.
