1870s marquise shell cameo ring in 18kt yellow gold. Set with a shell cameo centred with a figure in relief of a sitting woman in classical flowing robes, playing a harp, set in a rubover setting, to a marquise plaque ring with polished settings, raised intricately pierced gallery and flanked by pinched shoulders which broaden to a trumpeting shank which tapers to a solid shank. Marked 18kt gold.
