Austro-Hungarian sapphire and diamond oval cluster in 14kt white gold

Austro-Hungarian sapphire and diamond oval cluster in 14kt white gold. Set with a 3.00ct cushion shape mixed cut sapphire in a claw setting,  bordered by a row of round Old European cut diamonds in claw settings, to an impressive coronet cluster design featuring curving claws, pierced open gallery and intricately engraved base, flanked to either side with fine ribbed shoulders which continue to a ribbed shank. Hallmarked 14kt gold, Austro-Hungarian, circa 1922-1925.
